Hi, I’m Jake and I run Ranger Babe!

I’m a producer, engineer, songwriter, performer, session musician, and all around studio guy. These days I mostly produce records for others here at Ranger Babe, but my old band and I used to release our own music under the name special/sexy/sleazy.

Over the years I’ve amassed a solid collection of modern and vintage recording gear and instruments, all of which are available for use while at Ranger Babe. When you record at Ranger Babe, I’ll be there to produce, engineer, coach, write, session, or just get out of the way and let you cook.
